A Red Admiral butterfly (Vanessa atalanta) was spotted during a photowalk through Huntley Meadows Park, Fairfax County, Virginia USA.
The following photo shows the butterfly feeding on Rubus sp. flowers, possibly a species of Dewberry plant.
