Bridge across Quantico Creek

The following photos show a small wooden bridge across Quantico Creek, near Burma Road in Prince William Forest Park, Prince William County, Virginia USA.

If you like bridges that bounce when you walk across them, then this is the bridge for you! I prefer bridges that are rock-solid.

As you know, I am ok with bouncy bridges and even bouncy logs when crossing creeks. 🙂

In another life, I went camping in Prince William Forest. I don’t recall any bridges at all but was at an age where I may have ignored them anyhow.

In this “senior life”, I’m with you – stable bridges, please.

There are many streams that run through PWFP; accordingly there are a lot of bridges in the park, some more picturesque than others. My friend Mike Powell has explored more of the park than me and has taken photos of several bridges that I haven’t seen firsthand.
